Greyback duplex board — also called Coated Grey Back (CGB) — has a bright white clay-coated top surface and a grey mechanical pulp back. This construction delivers exceptional stiffness and bulk at a lower cost than whiteback grades.
Khanna Paper Mills produces two leading greyback grades: Diamond Grey Back (DGB), India's No.1 duplex brand for over a decade, and Optic Grey Back (OGB), optimised for high-speed machine-filled cartons with outstanding printability.
The grey back is economical and performs identically to whiteback in any application where the inside of the carton is not consumer-visible — making it the dominant choice for corrugated liners, shoe boxes and industrial outer cartons.
